    DNA Testing

Who here has taken a DNA test of their frenchie, and which one did you use? How are the results explained? Because frenchies are a mixture of different breeds from hundreds of years ago, will the results show this or would it just say 100% french bulldog or a percentage of other breeds? My...

If she could not tolerate chicken, i will avoid feeding her the turkey just in case. Have you tried a limited ingredient fish diet or a novel protein like rabbit. it may be best that going with a feathered bird option.

To Vaccinate or Not to Vaccinate Thats the Dilemma

Thanks guys! I've decided to hold off on vaccinating her. The day care accepts titers. She's going in for a trial day tomorrow to see whether it'll work out first. I'll look into the titer then. I didn't realize how expensive the test is. She had parvo at 9 weeks so I wonder if her immunity is...

    Hello everyone can anyone help

Mush2017 sorry to hear your frenchie is dealing with these issues. I understand what you're going through. Did they give here cerenia shot? As a first step i'll advise that you try putting her on a hydrolyzed proteindiet to calm the GI tract first. You can ask your vet about either Hills ZD...

I'm just joining this thread but have a frebchievwhos been struggling with severe IBD and since December diarrhea, loose stools, firm bloody stools and drag blood in stools. We did panacur, metronidazole both of which she had severe reactions to so we had to stop. She did test positive for...

Thank you! We do have the thundershirt. It helps a bit but not all the time, I think once we get her stabilized, the anxiety might get better

It's Been Awhile! Update on Nellie

Thanks! Looks like Dex has been through a lot as well. Hope he's getting better now. Kangaroo was going to be our next stop but it's so hard to come by where I am. Most come in LID kibble or cans but have carbs or fiber added and since we don't know what carbs she can't tolerate I'm hesitant to...

It's Been Awhile! Update on Nellie

I'll check it out! I've also heard about using digestive enzymes like prozyme on an empty stomach or hour before meals. I'm willing to try alternative options since the normal route didn't work for us.
