If you have a couple Apple divices such as a phone and a iPad, you can download an app called presence. It turns your iPad into a camera you can view from your phone while your out.. I did this when Louie was a pup and I had to run out while he was in his crate.

Louie tipped the scales at 16 lbs at 8.5 months today... Anyone have an estimate how much more growing he has in him? From my readings his gross weight should be established by ten months, at his current growth rate I think he's lucky to see 18lbs.

I had the same thoughts as you and started taking Louie to daycare at 14 weeks for a day here and there to help in socialization. I can't say for sure if it helped, but compared to other dogs his age he is much more calm and balanced. I'd say give it a shot. I'm happy I did.
