5 month old kneading and suckling on tous

My little man constantly kneads and nurses on his toys. Does this behavior disappear as he gets older? Just curious, I never had a dog do this before.

I had an English Bulldog that would nurse on my pants when ever he was on my lap. He did it up until he died at 9+ years old. He was bottle fed as a baby and maybe didn't get enough time at the "titty bar"! I don't know!

My little guy is 4 years old and still suckles on the nose of stuffed toys. He has done it since he was a baby and I don't see him giving it up. I wash them but sometimes he just wears them out. I always have a few new ones on hand for him and rotate them in.

Aw, well maybe my little guy does it for comfort. He does it everyday with a couple of his stuffed toys.

Glad to hear Im not the only one with a frenchie that does this, I was just hoping it wasn't due to stress or something. I think he just remembers his mama and likes to suckle.

It is very common in bulldog breeds, I know a 9 yr old that still does it

my girlfriends shih-poo kneads and suckles on his favourite blanket and he's 6 years old.

My 2 year old frenchie does this, she'd go on for hours if we let her but we usually take the toy away after 10 minutes or so, as she seems to be sucking down a lot of air when she does it.
