Hey everyone,

I thought I should share this because of my experience with Meeka from where I bought her and other people as well ! It's a terrible thing what this "breeder" does !

I thought for the longest time Meeka's bloody stool which I asked this very community about was stress related when we got her. Turn's out this breeder from CALEDON, ONTARIO has a TON of health problems with his frenchies. He's a puppy broker and nothing else !

Whiteforest Bulldogs | French Bulldogs at Heartview Road, Brampton, ON Canada is his website

Just a warning to everyone out there !

Our Zoey had the exact same night hacking cough. Once the Giardia was finally gone the cough stopped. Our newest baby has Giardia, Coccidia and worms. I really wish this guy was shut down and pays for what he has put families through with these sick babies.

Sorry you had a bad experience purchasing your pup. That's terrible. For any future prospective buyers looking for Frenchie, just thought I would mention that there is a great article on this forum on the home page by bullmama about French Bulldog Puppy Buying Tips.

I'm sorry to hear this ! Hopefully if word spreads enough then his horrible reputation will shut him down !! I hope your little ones get better !

I went through a situation with a puppy broker from Ontario as well!! How many are in that area!? Sheesh. So sad.

This is why I had such a hard time finding a decent breeder. So many told me they will just 'ship' me my puppy. Ummm, no. I want to see you, the parents, your home, etc.

I did contact Whiteforest about a puppy before I found Wally. They weren't overly nice to me on the phone when I peppered them with many questions so I decided to take my money elsewhere. I'm glad I did. I'm so sorry you went through this but I'm happy your puppy has a good home now.

Very smart if you ! we actually got a refund for Turbo once I asked him about the puppies health and stool , he lied said he was good. Not even a minute into the house bloody stool.. We felt so bad for returning him and decided to get him back and treat him at whatever cost ! As of today he is doing well but was just put on Pancur to help get rid of the worms he seems to have still. I am in Brampton not far from Mississauga may I ask what vet you use?

Did you ever find out what the blood in the stool problem was?

Yes it was Giardia, coccidia and worms. We've had him for 3 weeks now and the blood is gone he still has worms we just got started on Pancur today.

I go to the Clarkson Animal Hospital. It's a bit of a drive from Brampton as I'm in south Mississauga.

Banksy and Aiko did not come from the puppy broker.

We originally had a deal with a breeder in Ontario and the puppy ended up passing away. It was devastating.

We were rushed to put a deposit down and then they stopped answering any questions.

The puppy "passed away" before we ended up getting it. We have no idea what actually happened.

Anyway we ended up finding an amazing breeder in Detroit. No we never visited the home, however we had references and my bestfriend has one of their dogs. Their dogs are champion bloodlines and we got copies of all the pedigrees. We went through a screening process and everything went smoothly. So it was WAY different experience than the puppy broker from Ontario. Night and day difference

So I do think in SOME situations it is fine if you don't visit the home. But you have got to have references and do a lot of research. and it has to be clear that the breeders actually care where the dogs are going and who they are going to. For us it was a lengthy but well worth it process and we now have 2 dogs from the same breeder.

I completely agree. I was looking at breeders close to home with intentions of visiting. I wasn't going to be only an hour or so away and have them ship me a puppy.

Very sad you had to go through that!! Some people are horrible.

Ya no doubt... that seems so silly. The weird thing about the breeder I was dealing with.. is that I check back occasionally and they haven't had any available puppies since I had that experience. On the website there's no contact info anymore either to contact them about puppies.

I have a feeling they change the business name every so often to get away from the bad reviews.

At first I was told it was stress do to Meeka being flown over from hungry and changing homes, but another Vet in the same clinc treated her for lungworm and as the med's ended so did the bloody stoo
