Hi, I’m just asking for advice really is anybody else’s frenchie sick after three or so hours after eating, doesn’t happen all the time but just wondering what could this be, could it be sensitivity/allergies.

Totally could be allergies or food doesn’t agree with them. What brand and protein are you feeding?

pedigree and was working well for him he’s been on it since I got him and he’s nearly six months now, doesn’t have the chicken but seems like it’s the texture of the food or could be a different kind of meat in the jelly, waiting on his allergy test to come back through

really not a good food and sometimes it takes a few weeks to months for the issue to show. If you are going to feed a kibble the two you should look at are Open Farm and Zingnature. Earthborn holistic is good too

I have completely changed his food now and he’s doing much better, no sickness or anything as he’s prone to a lot of meats so he just has salmon kibble instead

Great! What did you switch to?

We have one that turns bright red, itchy and has an overwhelming amount of shedding. We switched to Open Farms insect based food and noticed a huge difference in about 48 hours. As ours are still puppies, we soak with zesty paw formula a couple times per week and have increased oxygen in their sleeping area while they are still developing.
