Best bowl for fast eating frenchie puppy

New frenchie owner here. She absolutely SCARFS her food. I’ve tried a slow down feeder, but I swear it seems like as much as she fights it, she has to be inhaling more air than with her normal bowl.

What kind of feeder does everyone use?

If feeding kibble try a flat cookie tray or add a little water to bowl to cause her to lap the food instead of glup

I purchased an Outward Hound feeder bowl after researching before I got my puppy. I believe the bowl would work great, but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), I don’t need it as my puppy eats slow as molasses. He actually lies down in front of his bowl and nibbles the food for 1/2 an hour. I don’t know if Amazon links are allowed. Wally eats like a machine gun, it's really something to see.

He ended up chewing a slow feeding bowl so I just use an elevated bowl.

Just place the bowl higher up. It will force her to slow down and swallow. We made a wood holder to keep the bowl at mouth level and he eats nice and steady now .
