Our elderly French bulldog, Chablis, is now 15 years old! From what I can gather, that is quite a good age for a Frenchie. She is a little fat cream colored Frenchie.
Her daughter died two months ago at age 13. So, the two of them have great genes.
She can't hear and has some trouble seeing, but she is doing very well otherwise. She toddles around the house, yapping for food when she is hungry. She will grab a nylabone from the other dogs and will take it into her crate.
When I can figure out how to load a photo on this new computer, I'll post a photos of her. She is an AKC champion and was bred by Herschel Cox of Missouri who is a pretty well known French bulldog breeder. I took her when my elderly friends could no longer care for her. She has outlived both of them since that time in 2011.
