Molly has started drooling excessively for the past hour.... It's like a faucet! :(

Anyone have any clue what could be causing this!

With my EBs when I'm cooking certain things like chicken and fish that would stimulate drooling. Ruggles drools all of the time, but the amount increases when he "helps" me prepare veggies and he knows he will get some. Other than that, there can be excessive drooling with an upset stomach. Buster hasn't drooled yet.

It's definitely not food / cooking related. It has me a bit concerned. :)

The only time Jax has drooled excessively is in the car from being car sick/having anxiety.

It could also be a sign of overheating.

Sounds like it could be an upset tummy, or something going on in her mouth.

I thought that could be too, but she's cool and has been for several hours now and is still drooling heavily. :(

It's driving me crazy not knowing what to do for her. She ate her dinner with no issues, so it seems her tummy is okay, but I don't know?

Poor Miss Molly. She doing any better? That happened one time with Louie and we discovered he was eating mushrooms in our yard. He was better by the next day and we're always careful now to destroy mushrooms in the yard so it doesn't happen again. Hope she's feeling better soon :(

mhuinker How is Molly today? Better I hope.

I hope she has been better today as well..... she seemed okay this morning, but I'm at work during the day and not sure if she is drooling or not, I will find out when I get home this afternoon..... at any rate, Leo has a scheduled appt with the vet today and I will be taking her with and mention her issue to the vet and see what he says.

Hoep she is doing better.... I was going to say upset belly too.... hope it is nothing serious.

She seems to be fine today.... I just don't know what caused it, but it worries me! Hopefully it will not come back.

So happy she is better today, and like you, I hope it doesn't start up again.

mhuinker - how is she doing?

I love seeing pics of her and Leo together!!! They look so content.

winginit66 She is doing MUCH MUCH better! :)

Is it a bad sign when I walk into the vet I feel like "Norm" from Cheers? Lol, and my vet comments jokingly to me "you did want a Fenchie, didn't you" meaning they are high maintenance. He was kidding of course. :).
