Frenchies and sunglasses

Summer is here and Jake is driving me crazy! I had read that sunglasses are necessary because of frenchies bug eyes. I live on Cape Cod and the glare around here is intense. The instructions say to put the sunglasses on when the dog is outside and they will become accustomed to it but Jake fusses and squirms and wants to run inside! 2 minutes later he wants to go out and we repeat the same thing! What do I do and are sunglasses really necessary?

I've not heard of this before. I can understand how they would drive him nuts!!!

I have never heard of this, I think it is a sells gimmick. Plus a well breed Frenchie does not have "bug eyes"

Just came in to say Jake is ADORABLE. That faaaaace.
I don't have sunglasses for mine. Don't know anyone else who does either. I do think it might be a good idea if you go around biking with him or take him on a motorcycle, but other than that, I think he's fine without them.

I only put sunglasses on Wally for an IG photo shoot and they last about 10 seconds long on his face.

FINALLY at the end of the summer, I was able to get sunglasses on Jake (just not on his head!)
