Grieving French bulldog owner!

Hello everyone! I Post this with a heavy heart hoping to help save someone's beloved French bulldog. My French bulldog, Spike, had panic attacks at times and had a hard time catching his breath. It has happened to him a few times. Two nights ago, it happened again as he became overly excited about being separated from his English bulldog due to medical issues with the English. I did not realize that this time would be different. His tongue turned bluish and he became really warm as he was struggling to breathe and he overheated without me realizing the severity. I rushed him to the vet but it was too late. I lost him and now I am extremely heartbroken and devastated. I feel like I should have brought him to the doctor sooner. I write this post hoping to at least save another. Frenchies have a hard time regulating body temperature. Don't ignore warning signs even if your Frenchie has had issues similar before.
