Heat cycle question

Is it normal for my 12 month old French bulldog to of not went into heat yet? She is showing no signs of it either. I’ve heard of the silent heat, but I feel like that’s not happened. My vet doesn’t seemed concerned yet. I am not going to breed her, I was just curious because of health concerns. Thanks everyone.

Katie didn't get her first heat until almost 11 months of age, so I wouldn't be that concerned. She may have had a silent heat and you didn't notice, it can be easy to miss. I would think she will have one in a few months.
