I have a Frenchie we named him Loki and got him when he was about a year and a half old. He's been having a major problem lately of itchy ears, I am hoping to learn about preventative steps we can take to keep this from becoming a common occurrence. I have read a whole plethora of stuff and would love to talk to those who have this issue and how you have managed or overcome this. Also to learn more about the breed.

Welcome…. It could be allergies to either food or environment. If issue is only ears, most likely a yeast issue. Try to avoid white potatoes in food if you are feeding kibbles. Fresh/raw would be best if you can and are willing

Thank you, so then Sweet potatoes are okay? When you say raw do you mean like Farmers Dog? Honestly I am considering finding recipes to make it myself. Any ideas or comments on this?

Farmers dog is not good food. It’s loaded with carbohydrates. We buy are food from the Raw Dog Food Company in Commerce City Colorado. They ship anywhere in the States, it arrives completely frozen.

Thought I would add his picture

Agree with Jeff.. I’m not a fan of farmers either, it’s also incredibly expensive .

I also buy from a service, all raw and completely frozen delivered.

Go with what Jeff suggests it’s a great food.
