Hi frenchie mom&dads

Could you please help me out with some home cooked dog food recipes. I feel like I am currently not feeding the right food to satisfy the health needs of both my dogs. They enjoy what they eat now but I feel like it could be much better for them with some extra added ingredients.

I tried home cooking for awhile and I used ground turkey as the protein and it turned out Jax is apparently allergic to turkey so I made a real mess out of him and have not home cooked since. I do know that when you home cook, you have to make sure you get in all the needed nutrients. There are some good articles on the web about how to home cook to ensure you get in everything that is needed to ensure a healthy, balanced diet.

I have home cooked for my English Bulldogs before. They had food allergies. I used 25% protein, 25% orzo, 50% veggies--green beans, broccoli, carrots. Here is a picture of a salmon dish and ground turkey with peas.

Basically all it needed was some seasoning for me to eat it!
