I'm going to burst with anticipation...

The litter I have been waiting on is scheduled to be born this Saturday. I am *dying* to see what she has. I want a male and really do not want a pied unless his markings happen to catch my fancy (only have ever liked a handful of pieds), so I'm praying she has fawns, creams, brindles...just not pieds. She has thrown all of those before, but this is her first time with this sire so who knows. She is a brindle and he is a brindle pied. I really don't want to have to walk away from this litter, especially since I absolutely love the breeder. My perfect pup would be a male BMF or red fawn.

Anyway, I'm just trying to keep my mind off it (unsuccessfully) and had to post to vent. I am not sure it helped, haha! Anyone else been in this boat before? How did it work out? Please send me some good [boy puppy] vibes!

It is! And I am really ignorant when it comes to genetics so it will be pretty exciting. I spoke with the breeder last night and she told me this litter could have a lot of possibilities, coat-wise. I naively figured brindle and brindle pieds would be the likely outcome so now I'm really crossing my fingers. Healthy and happy is always the most important, of course, and then I really want a show quality pup, but I can't help but have my favorite looks! I'm human after all

I'm already crazy to have my pup and the litter isn't expected till May! I'm not sure how I will make it! Please keep me posted on your pup and I will live vicariously through your joy!:loco2:

I'm not going to lie, it's killing me!!! Thankfully I have an amazing breeder who sends me photos and videos of the puppies to help me get my daily fix. I am absolutely dying to meet them, though, and try to choose which pup is going to be mine. I'm second pick and first pick has already basically chosen (she requested a certain color and sex and the litter produced that, so while none of us have made official picks, she will likely choose the pup that met her initial desires) so everyone else has to wait on me.

I feel for you. The wait is worth it, though, know that! I'd much rather wait for a healthy pup from good lines and a breeder I adore than get a pup tonight from some shady fella who doesn't care about anything but money. Live vicariously all you want! I can't wait until I can share photos/videos, but at this point I don't have the breeder's permission.

What are you hoping for from your litter?

This cracked me up!!! Awesome Frenchie Classified [emoji6] My perfect pup would be a black masked fawn male who is super cuddly, laid back, and wicked healthy. I didn't get that in this litter, but I have some adorable pups to choose from! I'm between a brindle male and a black masked fawn female. I just got another shipment of pics today through text so I'm a pretty happy camper! I think I'd die of anticipation if it weren't for the steady stream of pics and videos. [emoji7]
