Is this a frenchy?

Hey everyone, my room mate brought home this dog and I want to know your opinions on if this is a frenchy. I think it kind of looks like a pug..

Either way, he is adorable. I think he is a frenchie mix due to the pointy ears.

Don't get me wrong, we are falling in love wit this guy. He gets along great with my dog and provides him some doggy company!
