Kibble recommendations

Hi everyone. I have been struggling with my two year old Frenchie. She has been having very soft stools and recently had an allergy that caused bumps on her skin. The vet told me to try proplan sensitivit stomach but her stools are too soft and she strains to go. Any recommendations? I just tried open farm sensitive stomach white pollock formula and it’s straight diarrhea. Please help.

Have you tested for parasites?

Add some pure canned pumpkin and maybe switch the protein of the open farm to turkey. You can also do boiled turkey/rice or egg noodles for a few days to settle the gut

Yep all tests are negative. Do you think turkey is better than chicken?

Yes, I do… bulldogs , for some reason, have issues with chicken

I feed mine Dr. Marty’s Raw Food. Tucker used to have soft stool as well and this fixed him right up. I mix the Dr. Marty’s with some kibble and top it with pumpkin.
