If you’re able feed a raw diet. Nearly all other types of foods contain carbohydrates which lead to inflammation and additional health problems. We buy ours from Raw Dog Food company in Commerce City Colorado. They ship anywhere in the USA, and it comes completely frozen.

i looked into kibble without all the carbohydrates as well as grain free and no carsinogens most recommended was taste of the wild smoked salmon, i was advised to mix it with some pumpkin puree. But he still won't eat, i feel he is maybe still feeling home sick also it is a big change for him he came to us from South Carolina to Texas. But if you have any other recommendations or alternatives.

We tried many kinds of kibble. I truly don’t think there is any that isn’t highly processed. I’d still consider trying a raw diet.

Raw or gently cooked is best… all kibble is highly processed as Jeff ststed

Hi, I have the same issue with my gal. I use some homemade food and mix it with her dry food. I put water in it so the food gets soft. I use dry food with no chicken or chicken byproducts. As well, I use beneficial wet beef food that comes in a large sausage casing. And I give it to her if she eats, she eats, but after 2 1/2 days, she started to eat everything I give her. Frenchie may be a picky eater, but make sure you have the correct food type for ur dog. Some human food with dry food never fails. And if he sums her noise at it, wait a couple of days until the hunger kicks in. No, I didn't give her old food after that period of her not eating. I gave her fresh food.

Hi Angel,
I have a Chihuahua, and I'm hardly a new pet parent, but this isn't a breed issue. My Chihuahua actually was has a stomach virus recently, she's been transitioned since a year old on pawtree, and being in animal rescue, plus an Independent Pet Nutrition Professional at pawtree for years now I knew it wasn't the dog food or her new supplements. So I took her to the vet and he ran tests. He checked my pawtree site out, and told me I did a great job with her. It's a virus, and he gave her some meds. This was like a week ago now, and she's now almost finished with her antibiotics. I believe you need to take you're dog to the vet first step and call me at 4406220862. Once you have them vet records, go to pawtree.com/Northeastohiodogs
Go to pet quiz, fill out his quiz, and get his individualized and customized pet profile to see what recommendations we offer, go back show this profile to that vet or email it to him, and we can go from there. I don't want to just sell pet food. Our animals deserve better.
