Good evening
as you know my dog had Giardia for over 10 days
He's 14 weeks now,eating honest kitchen brave formula! He has allergies to chicken,potatoes,grains etc....
The worst happened yesterday
he went outside to poop and when he came inside he had his insides out!
I Almost fainted,called the vet and they had to do emergency surgery.He is in the clinic still
They told me that he has diarrhea so they can't feed him,he's in so many medication that I don't remember the names;
I really scared,I'm in shock still,I'm traumatized,I don't want this to happen again
I want him to be normal
To grow big and strong
Has this happened to one of your puppies?
Are they ok?
Please pray for Kota

Poor little guy! He should be fine... My Cheli had the as a puppy, had the corrective surgery but was surrendered by the owner (due to too much stress in the home) to our vet who then gave Cheli to us after his two month recovery--- Cheli is now a 5 yr old weights 25 lbs and has always been healthy and active with no reoccurring issues.

Sending prayers for a quick recovery.... He'll be home in a few days and you'll need to keep him calm for awhile and special food till he is healed

Awww poor pup. I'm sorry you're going through this. Lots of love and belly rubs are in order when he comes home. Wishing him a speedy recovery. Giardia is common in pups and unfortunately allergies are pretty common too, so hang in there. You will get him on the right track because of how much you care for him

Hi everyone,
The vet called and told me that Kota throw up blood last night,he ate only a table spoon of food
He also has diarrhea......His blood count is very low
They send me to an another vet 2 hours away to do an endoscopy because she doesn't know what to anymore
My heart is broken :nopenot:

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear this. But don't despair he can pull through. My pup had parvo; giardia; pneumonia and a bunch of illnesses at 9 weeks. The emergency vets basically told us to be prepared to put her down because she wasn't going to make it. And it looked like that for a while. I cried when I saw her in the icu hooked up to wires and stuff
. But she pulled through! Your boy will too! We are praying for you and him. Big hugs
