Should I switch foods - need opinions, please!

In the past I have tried a variety of dry kibble for Jax thinking he possibly had a food allergy. He is currently on (since end of January) California Naturals venison and lentil because I wanted to try a unique protein. He has many environmental allergies and no known food allergies and he just had boiled chicken this weekend and seemed to be okay so I am now contemplating on whether or not I should change to a better food or just leave well enough alone and keep him on his current food. Thoughts?

If he is doing OK on his current food, I would just stay with it.
