Can anyone help,Lola is two years old and she is gorgeous, her only problem is her ears, when she started scratching we took her to the vets and she was diagnosed with a yeast infection so she was put on antibiotics, that didn't work,
This started 18 months ago since then she's had ear wash, ointment, cream, untold amounts of tablets, and all sorts of treatments and nothing works,
Now you can see she's in a lot of discomfort
She only shakes her head very gently
And she's getting hard of hearing,
Has anyone else had this problem and solved it we are taking her to the vets again tomorrow
Her folds of skin on her face had the infection as well but that cleared up a long time ago
I do hope we can put an end to her scratching soon we feel so sorry for her
So please can anyone help

First thing to do is try putting in every day Zymox otic drops for 2 weeks (my favourite), https://www.chewy.com/zymox-otic-pet-ear-treatment/dp/54784 or Malacetic drops https://www.chewy.com/malacetic-otic-cleanser-dogs-cats-8/dp/111393or your own mixture of 50% witch hazel/50% apple cider vinegar. That MIGHT clear it up.

She's probably got allergies causing this, either food or environmental or both. Best thing for food allergies is an elimination diet , so try a limited ingredient diet with a new protein for her such as Honest Kitchen Marvel with turkey and parsnip, and give her an antihistamine such as cetirizine 0.5 mg/pound daily. Also start her on a good doggie probiotic such as Herbsmith Microflora Plus or Proviable DC or sauerkraut from health food store in fridge section or green tripe. Also give raw virgin coconut oil (start with 1 teaspoonful daily) which helps with allergies.

If it doesn't get better when you switch to new food(s) and probiotics it's probably environmental allergies. With vet involved you can try sublingual immunotherapy such as Respit, which takes about 5 months to work, or a biologic therapy such as Cytopoint.

My first thought was allergies too. Honey's Owners gave you some great advice, and I'm not too familiar with dog allergies, but Gus had some issues with yeasty ears when we first got him, but they cleared right up when we transitioned him to a different food than the breeder had him on. What are you currently feeding her?

I would try switching her food to a grain free diet that isn't too high in carbs. Yeast feeds off of sugar and carbs are sugar. Have you considered feeding a raw diet? Eliminate any starchy treats as well. @honeysowner gave you some helpful advice. Hope she feels better soon!

We have done all the allergies all the foods we feed all our dogs on raw two frenchies and two bostons they are all very healthy no probs at all thank you all for your advice
I'll let you know the outcome of the vets visit later

Make sure the vet is checking deep in the ear for an infection... sometimes, they don't check deep in the canal and just se the lower outer portion.

Do you mean you've had testing for allergies? What was the method for testing and how long ago was it? Could be possible that she's developed an allergy to something in the meantime.

Good luck at the vet. Give us an update when you can.
