Fawn puppy with dark stains

Klay is 11 weeks old. I got him about a week ago and I'm starting to notice dark spots around his skin. It first started behind his ears. Now it's around his butt and back legs. Idk if he's just changing colors or this is something I should go get checked out.

Is it color of the fur or is the fur thinning?

It looks to me like the color of his hide is showing through his fur. That could be from normal shedding.

Seems like his skin yeah. First time owning a frenchy so was just worried but from all the research I've done it seems like it's just the color of his hide

Yes it's just his hide. Buddy has gone like a Dalmatian !! Ha ha x

It is his hide turning, which is normal. Some get spots more than others as they get older.
