Hello, I am very strongly considering buying a French bulldog puppy. Since this will be my first ever dog, I wanted to know what kind of things I should be looking for when looking at different puppies. Please inform me of things I should be looking for and should I buy from breeder or owner. Any tips are appreciated thank you.

If any body could give me please, some advise, my cute Jacques is 9 months, he is a happy puppy with a very special personality. He was my 23 years daughter love, who pass away 2 months ago. Like she used to tell me ,he gave her smiles since morning to night. And even is this the most painful moment in my life , he had become my baby and i can feel her love thought him. But I'm new with french buldog. I have a 7 year old pitbull who adores Jacques and really acts like a big brother. I feed Jacques with blue , my daughter used to feed him with a very expensive deshidrated raw food but I changed to bluegrain-free for puppies but he started having diarrhea yesterday night but he was snacking from big brother food wich is nutro max grain free. He doesnt look sad and i believe is a reaction to my pitbull food.whar i could do better? Or feed him with? What is the best food for frech even if i have to cook for him? Thank you!
