Hi i have recently purchased a french bulldog he is now 9 weeks old and has a coughed, it's like he is gagging but nothing is coming up i have taken him to the vets and everything seems normal but he is on antibiotics, I'm just wondering if it could be something else like allergies or something, he has had the cough for 2 days now? Thanks in advance

hi lisa! thank you for the warm welcome! I am from southern California and thinking of spaying my French bulldog? where is ur location? looking for a good vet recommendation for spaying? and asking aprrox how much? ive called one vet and was quoted $900 usd. is that reasonable price?

Hi Lisa thankyou for the warm welcome and very nice to meet you this looks like a great place to meet other frenchie lovers.

I was reading about the weights of puppies, my pup has gained 3 pounds so far this month , given she has be on steroids for the last week for skin infection. We do not want an overweight pup, It is just not good for them .
she currently weighs 14.8 pounds at 5 mos. weight projection is 18.5 pounds at 12 most... at the rate she is going it she will be 35 pounds.
I thin when she is off the steroids she may drop a pound or too .
anyone else have this problem?

I am glad I found this site. We have a 5 month old girl that has had one issue after another .
parisite , ear infection , skin infection ... but thru it all she has remained spunky.
We just had her spayed , and the JPS surgery. Her hips we terrible.
I wanted to see how many other parents had babies with bad hips , and if anyone else has done the JPS surgery.
I don't know what is normal.
