2.5 year old peeing on her bed and couch

Hey all!
I have a 2.5 year old female Frenchie who sometimes urinates in our couch and just recently it looks like she also urinated on her own bed. She never does this when we are home and only notice it when we come home because I can smell it. she uses pee pads and normally doesn’t have a problem knowing where to go when we are around and has been tested at the vet and everything came back normal as far as we can see . We can’t seem to figure out why she is doing it and if there is a pattern.
Any advice would be appreciated .

I sometimes find my dog urinates on her bed when she has some major change in her life. Example, was at a dog sitter for a few days, or some other stress. Also sometimes after washing her bed. I now use laundry soap not detergent for my washing so that hasn't happened after washing since. ( Nellie's laundry soda from Costco ) .

Some pups just can't have bedding... try not leaving bedding with her when you are away.. she if it makes a difference

I agree, she may be marking her bedding so she can go without!
