My Frenchie (Arnold) has developed further allergies since having his rabies vaccine last summer (August 2025).
Arnold looses hair clumps and has raised bumps on his skin. His feet are inflamed with blisters but nothing at the moment is helping (see photos - there are more on his neck/back but he's too comfy to move atm!).
He's been on and off:
I'm giving him a weekly bath with medicated shampoo, whilst leaving it on for 10 mins to soak in.
His food is a salmon based diet with some sweet potato. We need to give it time being more strict on this diet, but we've now eliminated all other food sources.
He's not been on Prednisone for the last few weeks as he's been on pain medication for suspected IVDD but turned out to be a hip issue (thankfully!).
Any idea on how to address this or settle the allergies? Next step is a dermatologist but hoping to find any answers from owners who've been through this process with their Frenchies.
Any help would be appreciated!
