can't get comfortable

my 2 yr. old boy seems very uncomfortable. He stopped panting, which is a good thing. And he's walking normal. However, he just can"t seem to lie down. It appeared as though he was trying and it caused him pain. He then went into his cage, where he goes if he"s scared or hurting. Any thoughts?

Have you taken him to the vet?

he might have something going on that a vet needs to exam him.... could be may things. But panting is a sign of pain

I would definitely take him to the vet as he is in pain.
