CDA in french bulldogs

Hello all,

I am a german french bulldog breeder. Here in germany it is a huge discussion ongoing if french bulldogs can be affected by CDA. Has anyone ever come across a french bulldog diagnosed with CDA?

Okay, CDA is color dilution alopecia. It happens in other breeds so it most likely will happen in Frenchies. The best breeders breed for health and temperament and leave the designer colors alone.

I have never had that problem, because I do not breed for color, FBDCA standards. None of the other breeders I know have ever had this problem either, but they breed like I do, for health, temperament, and stay with the FBDCA standards.
