Cooling collars

I haven't used them either,, I know some Bulldog owners that do, but not sure of a favorite. I do know that you can not use them unsupervised as the inside can be toxic so you want to make sure they do not chew on them and swallow the contents. I know a bully that almost died from it

Rootbeer doesn't like water very much. I've been keeping him in except to go out and potty but he really likes playing outside and going for walks but he gets hot so quickly I haven't been letting him do much of either and he is not happy about it, he's a big complainer.

He would not be left unsupervised. He loves being outside, going for walks, etc but because its been so hot I haven't been letting him out except to go to the bathroom for fear of him over heating. Even with a collar or vest we wouldn't be out long

We do not have such high temperatures over here, but during occasional heat wave I have found some help from "Chill Out" bandana. I soak it to cold water and re-soak before it dries.
This works well also with harness when going for walks.

Also hosing the belly and legs helps for more long term.

Chill out.webp

I do the same thing. I walk them pretty early in the morning but not at night when I get home because it's too hot. Luckily they get exercise in the house chasing each other.
