Does anyone know what this is?

Does anyone know what this is? I’m obviously going to take Norman into the vet but I was wondering if anyone has seen something similar? I feel like it came out of no where two weeks ago. At first I assumed it was a wart that he had picked up from daycare. A friend of mine that takes her dog to the same daycare said her pup at one point had something similar and it eventually fell off. It doesn’t cause him any pain and he is his crazy normal self as always.

I am no expert, but I think this is a benign hyperkeratosis. I don't know if there is treatment for it. I would ask your vet.

Thanks for the reply! He has a vet appointment tomorrow. Im hoping it’s sometbing that will just go away on its own!
