Dog foods

Raw is always best… I feed a raw from a local delivery service.

@Jeffc has one that delivers in all of US based out of Denver

Definitely Raw. Lots of great books out there. Dont tell the vet. A great podcast on Spotify is The raw dog food truth.

I have great luck with Open Farm and can even rotate the different flavors without concerns.
The new Epic Blend salmon with a splash of warm water is perfect in my opinion. Not so cheap but check it out you’re having food issues.
Top shelf ingredients and no need for extra probiotics.

And this is safe for even a puppy to be on 100%? My little guy is about to hit 5 months on Monday.

I’ve been feeding exclusively for over 2 months now and my guy just turned 7 months.
Most of the food types now are listed okay for most age groups. (Puppies)
Just check out the ingredient list and nutrition on protein v fat on the website.
Before this I’ve always had good luck with the Open Farm kibble but stayed away from the labeled Puppy Food as it has chicken in it and fear the allergies.

Thank you! I had him on Ollie (Turkey and Blueberries) for meals and then Blue Buffalo Puppy (Turkey) dry food in his enrichment toys, but his recent urinalysis showed red and white blood cells and crystals. So I am worried it might be from the dry Blue Buffalo as ppl had mentioned that can create crystals.

Yes I would move away from Blue Buffalo for sure.
Fiber content with the pumpkin in the Open Farm should help you with that anal gland issue as well.
Switch the kibble gradually and I like adding Benebac powder you can get from Chewy.
Probiotic that will keep his digestion perfect while you’re changing the food over to the new brand.
