enlarged teats after heat

My 1 year old Frenchie went through her first heat in January. Her teats have since grown larger. The back two seem to be swollen some as if they were starting to get milk. I do not think she has been around a male dog, but I am now wondering if it happened. Is this normal at all for female Frenchies? My pug never did this when she went through heat.

My frenchie was the same after her first season.

They will swell a little after a heat, but should go down some after a little while. When females are in heat, you never leave them unattended outside, ever.

Yes they do swell up after, at this point I would say nothing to worry about. If they keep getting bigger over the next few weeks though, it's possible.

Thanks for your replies! I may take her to the vet to be sure she isn't pregnant. Maybe look into false pregnancy.
