I am now officially a Frenchie mom. Just got my Oliver yesterday. He is a cleft palate boy. So far I am in love

I also have a 6 yo English Bulldog named Bella.

Welcome! Your babies are so cute. I have a 1 year old Frenchie and would love to eventually get an EB as well.

How adorable! I have always loved the English Bulldogs as well... One day that is what my husband would like. We have a houseful now, but I agree, I could never be without a bulldog after owning one now.

How common is the cleft palate in frenchies? Oliver is adorable, you can't notice from his picture at all. I just read the blog about little Lentil, a popular rescue frenchie who had a bad cleft palate and was abandoned at birth. Hopefully your little Oliver doesn't have too much of a struggle ahead of him! He's just an adorable little peanut!
