Hello I’m new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself my name is Luz I’m from Pennsauken NJ and I have 2 frenchies my males name is Benny he’s 3 years old and he’s cream and a big ham

my female is 2 years old her name is Cardi and she’s a sweet little girl. 3 days ago Cardi had a litter of an amazing 10 puppies. 1 was a water baby and didn’t make it unfortunately. The vet or me could not believe that she had that many puppies. I’m still in disbelief. I was only expecting 4 at the max everyone is doing well and I haven’t slept in 2 days

the vet said his record for a Frenchie was 8 he said it was really rare for her to have so many puppies. She had 8 boys and 2 girls. I’m still in disbelief. I’ve been helping Cardi with feeds and taking care of her babies because it’s so much work for her but she is doing really good and is a great mom. Is there anything anyone can recommend for me to do to help her more. She barely wants to leave them and take care of herself and her appetite is not the best right now. I’m a nervous wreck it’s me and cardis first litter and I need pointers to help her. Thanks in advance

[MENTION=3764]Sparkle50081[/MENTION] congrats on your pups. You should be feeding her a good quality puppy food, also give her some goats milk several times a day. Our supper markets here carry it, Kroger, and HEB, not sure what stores you have there but hopefully one of them will carry it. Also some plain yogurt, preferable goats yogurt. The goats milk it easy to digest, cows milk is not. You can also bottle feed the pups goats milk as well. We use the Dr. Browns baby bottles with the premmie nipple. Feed her all she can eat. Some Feta cheese in her food may help her want to eat. We also weigh ours every day to make sure all of them are gaining weight. Good luck with the pups, plus keep them warm.
