I guess I forgot to introduce myself a couple of weeks ago when I joined this site. I used to be a HUGE lover of English Bulldogs. When my baby passed away after only 9 years, (average lifespan for English Bulldogs is 8-10 years) it just tore my heart out! I’m tearing up right now thinking about her. I swore I would never own another one because I couldn’t go thru that pain again. I rescued a couple of mini pinchers who have a LONG life span about 5 years ago and thought I was done. Well, that brings me to Tucker. When I found out about Frenchies, having the same comical antics as English Bulldogs, but more importantly much longer lifespans I became a mother once again to a “bulldog” 18 years later! He’s lived up to the Frenchie reputation in full! Not a day goes by that he doesn’t make me laugh. He loves long walks, but more importantly GOLF CART RIDES! He FORCED me to meet every neighbor on my street and I’m thankful for that. A couple have become my best friends.
