Holy FRAP!

Do any of your frenchies (esp as puppies) experience FRAPS? Frenetic Random Activity Periods.

I just got in from dinner. Danté seemed fine when I let him out of his crate... Sleepy even. Then BAM -- he was a wild man!!!! Running from toy to toy, bouncing off walls, trying to rip down curtains and chew electric chords all within minutes. He actually bit my hand pretty hard during the FRAP when I grabbed his cow toy to play tug of war.

I always called them 'spaz-attacks' and just let it run its course, because they do not last very long at all. Cheli is relentless, but has never destroyed or touched anything that is not his toy (very early training/reinforcement)

We call it running around like a fart in a skillet and, yes, it happens frequently. It's hilarious how agile, flexible, and fast she can be. Recently, she's added a crazy high-pitched bark into the mix. It's funny until she does it an inch away from your ear, leaving you essentially deaf for a good five minutes.

Yep, they get the "zoomies" every once in awhile, and every night around 8 or 8:30. we call it the "bewitching hour".

We call it 'shark-mode' and my husband turns Bear into a shark when they rough-play.

Jax will get the zoomies too. It usually happens out of nowhere and then he will pass out afterwards.

Yup - We call it the Frenchie 500 time.......they go NUTS!!! Ollie bounces off the couches and beds and flies through the air literally!
