how many rounds of treatment to get ride of Giardia? probiotics help?

this is going to be our 2nd round of treatment after the first one being unsuccessful. how many round did it take you to get rid of the parasite? i am trying to set expectation here. the vet told me she could prescribe probiotics along with antibiotics. did your pup take that during the treatment? did it help? can i get probiotics online too? Thanks

I’ve dealt with giardia a couple times and the Panacur has always taken care of the issue but I know it can be hard to get rid of.
