How much to feed

Our Frenchie Rootbeer is 5 months old and 20lbs (he's not fat at all he's just a big dense boy). He eats taste of the wild puppy food and I know the recommended amounts on dog food bags tend to be inflated. The bag says at his age and weight he should get 2 1/4c a day, this seems like a lot to me. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how much I should be feeding him? Thanks

We feed Hazel and Hillary 1 cup a day. A growing pup will eat more per day, maybe 1 1/2 cup a day or less. We feed them twice a day. Just have to play it by ear.

We feed Buster a cup, twice a day. He is half Olde English Bulldogge, so he is bigger. He goes to the vet's Friday for shots so we'll see what he weighs. If he is over 35 lbs. we'll cut back some on his food.

Jax will be 1 next week and he gets fed 2/3 cup twice a day.
