So, I've been planning on making Bentley a pen but I've noticed lately that he can jump pretty high.
How tall do you think would be safe through adulthood so that he can't jump over it?

Thank you.

OH boy -0-- that is a great question.... Cheli can make it to my hip without an issue from a sitting position -- that has to be about 3 feet, maybe.

I was thinking maybe I'll just put a net over the pen if it comes down to it. But I'm still debating on what height to make it overall.

Yeah. Bentley can jump even higher. For being less than 4 months old and around 10 lbs (we'll find out exactly at his vet visit this Saturday) he can jump close to 4' vertically. But I'm not sure about a forward leap.
I'm thinking I'm going to have to have some type of removal or netting for when I'm not home. I plan to build a new "crate" attached to a pen for a total of a little over 28 square feet of room for him in an L shape (6.5 of that is actual "crate" which will just be a sectioned off area with a bed). So he has room to move when no one is home.

Here is a design I created for the pen.

My Frenchie can jump High as well but I just taught her to respect the baby gate and not to go near it.

That's a great looking pen!

We had to build a 6' wall out of wood to contain Uma, and she still escaped all the time. I wasn't even mad, it was very impressive. Wally just ran through the baby gate when he got big enough, he's like the Koolaid Man. :D
