New here! Food recommendations?

Hello! We have an 8 week old frenchie puppy named Knox. He is on Purina One with a tiny bit of Royal Canin soft food (breeder had him on this). We are very interested in changing him to a healthier food. Any recommendations?

Welcome! Good idea to switch him to better food. Some of the better brands are Fromm, Acana, Zignature and Open Farm just to name a few. Every dog is different so you’ll want to find a brand that works.

Hello,
Definitely would get the pup off Purina and Royal Canin if you are able to. The brands listed above are of far greater quality. Staying away from foods that have by-products listed in the ingredients is ideal. You may want to be proactive and avoid chicken as a protein source as lots of Bulldogs have sensitivity to chicken. Mine does well on cold and neutral proteins like duck and beef and fish. Good luck!!
