I dont know if im over thinking this or if this is normal.
so when i came home after work i went to pick up chowder to give him kisses. right when i picked him up (with my hands under his from arms) he started to whelp and cry. I, immediately put him down and was worried. So then i tried again and he cried again. Then right after he went and took a really big poop. Then little later my girlfriend picked him up and he did the same, then couple minutes later he went again and dropped another big load.
can dogs cry due to being constipated and uncomfortable. Fearing the worst i wanted to take him to the emergency vet, but after calling my breeder she said its probably nothing serious if hes walking/eating, and drinking water.
What kind of scares me is hes usually playful at these times, but he is being a lazy butt. Hes sitting down and just wanting to sleep. He'll have his moments when we give him his plush toy he'll try to fetch then right after he is pooped.
He is on benadryl kids liquid (7ml a day for an ear infection) (today is his last day and he is done) usually hes not this tired, but maybe today is just that day for him.
I also put him on his side and felt all up and down his body and no crying. I pulled his legs, twisted gently and even picked him up again and no crying. So i believe he is better.
My girlfriend fed him 10 frozen blueberries @ lunch today along with his food. Hes been on himalayan dog fews for hte past couple days, and elk antlers. I wonder if this has anythign to do with it.
its crazy cause im thinking of the worst cast scenario. let me know what you guys think.
also ive noticed when chowder walks/runs he kind of walks in an angle (almost looks like hes drifting with his back end out to the side a bit) also when he sits hes been putting his legs off to the side (looking very comfy) is this normal?
Thank you for hearing me out and my venting. Its scary when things like this happen because this is my first frenchie puppy, and i think breeders and websites do a great job of making sure everyone know Frenchies are plagued with health problems
