Rango is a mostly-healthy boy. He suffers from mild epilepsy, but we're happy to report that he has not had one seizure since his foster family put him on a raw diet. It is important for Rango's health that his forever home is willing to keep him on a raw diet. Rango also takes an inexpensive medication to manage his epilepsy.
While in foster care, Rango has been living with quite a few pooches and is doing well with them. Upon first meeting, Rango can be a little bossy. But he's a good boy and settles down with just a few reminders of his place in the pack.
Rango does NOT like our friends of the feline persuasion so we will have to say no to any home with cats in it. He's also not the best with children. Older children might be okay if they were very dog savvy, but we think that Rango would prefer a child-free home where everybody is at least a teenager and little ones are rare and brief visitors (Rango should be separated in the case of wee callers).
