So adorable. I don't know why more people don't own this breed. Ollie has turned so many people onto this breed. I love my Golden's but there is something said for easy coat care and a portable dog that I can carry! The only draw back I have found is he is more independant than the Golden Retrievers I have had. Anytime I call my Tucker he comes every time. Ollie almost NEVER comes when I call him. If he wants pets it's always on his terms. More like a cat. LOL He's so cuddly though. ALWAYS sitting and laying on me. If I'm sitting at home he's always on my lap or laying at my feet if he can't get m to pick him up. He will sit at my feet and hop up at me and scratch my leg saying MOM pick me up! It's so cute.

You have pretty much described Jax as well. He listens to me when he wants to and when he is feeling feisty, he does not want to be pet. But he loves to cuddle and loves to lay all over me as well. If I am on the couch and he wants to take a nap, he jumps right up and plops himself onto me.
