Switching from Blue Buffalo Puppy, to Fromm... What to buy first?

I feel like she's getting too full too quickly with the mix. I'm still only feeding a 1/2 cup at a time, but she can't seem to finish.

Well I don't want to add anything yet, since yesterday was only day 1 of switching foods, and today is only day 2.

And none of my dogs have ever eaten wet food... Unless they refused to eat? We got the gravy packs and mixed about 1/3 of the amount you can use into the dry food.

I'll consider looking into it once she is 100% on the Fromm.

Any flavors your frenchie goes crazy for? (If you feed the wet Fromm)

Sorryi meant 3/4 pf old food and 1/4 of new food. So if feed half cup... Then split the food to make the half cup

I use her 1/2 cup scoop, and fill it mostly up with the Blue (3/4), then top it off with the Fromm (1/4).

Right?

She seems like she's going to throw up and doesn't finish eating.

And her belly looks full.

She did this last night, and even more-so this morning... And she hasn't finished her food at all today.

I would lessen the amount to 1/3

The beef and pork canned Fromm are both good choices!

The lamb and Lentil kibble is really small and both my dogs love that. Frenchies are a breed that has a lot of allergies so I stay away from all poultry 100% incase. My pug didn't develop a poultry allergy until 5 months old.

Isabelle has been on chicken since 8 weeks old. So I figured I would stick with poultry. Ha.

I was considering the lamb & lentil!

I have Isabelle a 100% Fromm meal for dinner. She ate it no problem.

I don't think mixing the food was good on her...

She might get a little thrown off walk with her pooping, but she seems 100% better than with the last 3 meals being mixed. I didn't like how she wasn't eating her food. It seemed off to me.

Also, how /do/ you know an allergy? Itching? Puking? Hives? Like what tells you "my dog is allergic to that?" It really makes me nervous, because I know what allergens in Frenchies can do [emoji17]

Typical allergy symptoms are scratching,,licking paws, red eyes, runny poo, upset stomach etc.
But the only way you can tell for sure is to get an allergy test done.

Our pug was on chicken kibble for 4-5 months and she developed runny poo for two weeks and no medicine would help and all tests were normal. She also got hives once very bad after eating and was very itchy all the time. We switched her to lamb and no chicken or turkey treats and the symptoms cleared up immediately.

I feed Acana Pacifica as Uma has a poultry allergy that developed at 1 years old and I found it was very hard to find dog food without poultry. Both dogs do well on this food.

I'll keep an eye out. She doesn't seem to be allergic to anything at all yet. *knock on wood*

Ill keep an eye out for any symptoms after she's on the Fromm for a couple of weeks.

I've seen the Acana before.

If isabelle seems to develop allergies I'm going to try the lamb & the beef fromm, if not we'll have to switch again. :0
