Ugh, need to find yet another new food due to allergies

Penelope has been getting Fromm, which I thought was an end to her allergies. She does have environmental allergies especially when she runs in the tall grasses/swamps with her buddy. It’s cold in MN now so I know that’s not the problem any longer.

Onto food research, I’m looking at Victor, NVI, and Alana. Leaning towards NVI. I think she needs to stay away from potatoes. I’d like to stick with a kibble because of working full time too. Any other dog food allergies out there and luck with any of those 3 foods I mentioned above??

Fromm pork and peas has no potatoes.... have you tried that one?

Zignature is a good limited ingredient kibble and their formulas do not have potatoes.

Norman is the same. We’ve tried every type of Fromm, acana, Origen... nothing. We recently switched him to the honest kitchen zeal formula and he’s doing so much better! I would try them out!

Hi, I have my girl on honest kitchen also. I have tried the grain free turkey, chicken and fish. She names at her feet a lot, eats grass often and has bad gas. Ugh! Don’t know what else to try

Frozen raw patties with just fresh ingredients are usually a safe bet too. Most pet shops sell them.

It could possibly be a contact allergy. Took me a while to realize that the shampoo we were using on Gus made his paws and legs itch.

Try getting her on a probiotic!!!
