Went to have breakfast and came back and my 7 mo th old puppy ripped the pee pad off the pee pad holder and ate half of it. Positive it happened within the last 30 mins. What should I do? I'm freaking out!

Call a local 24/7 vet ... he may meed to have stomach pumped. It depends in what they are made

They usually just pass right through. I know Henry has done it a few times and I've seen it come out with his poop.

For the future, your vet can induce vomiting with a drop in the eye if it was something that was recently ingested. Better to make them vomit it up than to risk a blockage later down the line in the intestines. Hope everything turned out okay!

How is he doing?

He should pass it without any problem. I would definitely watch him for a few days for signs of blockage, but should be OK. We use the cotton washable puppy pads, and so far they have never chewed one up.

I think he will be fine I heard you can also induce vomiting with hydrogen peroxide if I'm not mistaken

This looks good. I'm having trouble with my pup ripping up the pads and swallowing little pieces of it. What material is the top of the tray?

How old is your baby? With my guys, once they start ripping the pee pads, I don't put them in there anymore.

And it's comfortable for your pup?

He's 12 weeks.

I got Jax when he was 10 weeks old and he used the pads a couple times and then he started ripping them so I stopped using them. I have a 12 week old English Bulldog and he hasn't used the pads at all and started ripping them so I stopped using them. Does your guy actually use them? If not, maybe stop using them.

He's used them very randomly. But yeah I think Ima just take it away. He has a little room with his bed in his cage that he can walk in and out if so I put the pas outside of his cage so he wouldn't do anything inside of his cage. But all he does is rip up the pad

That sounds like my guys. It sounds like he may not need them anymore. Just a thought...
