Is there very bad flooding where you are? I have been seeing reports of the flooding on the news here in the states.

Yes we had some severe flooding in the New Brighton area over Christmas and New Year cars disappeared into the Mersey River etc. The flooding you are probably seeing on news is the Southern area Devon, Cornwall etc. I'm in the North West 5 mins from the coast but on a hill
