Woman was mauled to death by her adopted French bulldog that was bred for fighting. I didn't know French bulldogs were capable of being in dog fighting rings. It's hard to even think that such a small dog can kill a person

Thats crazy. Thats hard to believe. I smell foul play. An attack like that would have left the bulldog in bad shape, Possibly overheated.

It's a crazy story. Her other French Bulldog had blood on it too, possibly trying to save her. It's hard to believe that her three dogs could have lived together with one of them being formerly in a dog fighting ring. Plus it previously attacked her boyfriend and was in a pound from which she retrieved it before it attacked her.

Totally crazy... gotta be more there

Hello Everyone. I started reading this article and found it quite unbelievable. It turns out that this dog is a Shorty Bull, a combination of 5 different Bull breeds. French Bulls grab attention and it made story go viral. If they had reported that it was a mixed breed containing an American Pit the story wouldn't have spread worldwide. No offense to Pit owners who raise them properly.

It takes a seriously sick individual to participate in dog fighting rings and a even sicker individual to raise dogs for fighting. I hope there’s a special place in Hell for these people.

Her other French bulldog had blood on it too- not sure if it was attacking her, curious, or what happened. Maybe she was rescuing dogs from dog fighting rings?

I read that a Shorty Bulldog is the result of a collaboration in a rural Kansas community by Amy Krogman and co-founder Jamie Sweet starting 30 years ago and contained pretty much any mix of bulldogs but mainly English and French and Staffordshire bull terrier, that eventually resulted in the final product. The main criteria was that it didn't have any pug or boston terrier bred into it.
