Has anyone else dealt with this? My MIL frenchie peanut has been dealing with this for a month now. The vet don’t know what it is because they want a biopsy done and my MIL is a little hesitant on that rn. Peanut has 3 different bacteria (4+ growth). He looks like this at the moment and he stinks so bad. He is 5 years old, he never goes anywhere and he been eating the same food and living in the same house. AI said he could develop a sensitivity to his food since he has been eating for so long. The vet he is going to now has been giving him a shot every 48 hours I’m not sure what’s it called I’ll have to look at that but the vet said it doesn’t look good for him. Vet said we need to do a biopsy and if not they can still keep giving him the shot but if there is improvement then they suggest putting him down. Has anyone experience this before? They said it could be environmental but they have no exact diagnosis
