Cooper was surrendered when his elderly owner was no longer capable to care for him. His is approximately 7 years old, deaf, and takes medication for mild seizures. He tends to startle easily so no children in his forever home. He has been known to snap in defense if startled. He is good with submissive dogs and cats, but prefers people. He tends to gravitate towards women as his previous owner was an elderly woman. He is a mellow older fellow looking for love and independence in a calm and quiet forever home.
Cooper is a easy going, keep to himself kind of guy when it comes to his four legged friends. Unfortunely he is not as respectful to his humans. He needs a stern owner that will not put up with his sometimes grumpy attitude. If he does bond with you then he is forever loyal. He would prefer a home that is very quite and calm. No children or frequent visitors.
