I've never heard of this thing, anyways I took stitch to the vet today to get his paw check.
It started as A small patch and spread to the next toe and became swollen.
He's completely fine, doesn't cry or anything he's still a very energetic dog.
The vet said that it might be from a foxtail, he prescribed stitch a APOQUEL and Cefpodoxime. I want to see if it will help before we try the biopsy. My poor baby is now in pain because the vet tried to squeeze it and see if puss will come out. But none.
Has any of you had this issue or side effects from this medicine? Google searching is killing me big time I feel like everything is deadly for my little baby.

Radar is on Apoquel and it works great for him, with no side effects that I have noticed.

So I just noticed something similar on Nellies left paw yesterday. It's still small but a little swollen. It hasn't spread yet. We are heading to the vet tomorrow so I'll get it checked out and update you on what he thinks it is. We haven't used any of the meds before so can't help you there. Keep us posted on how he's doing.

If it's any consolation my very good friend has two bullies, a Frenchie and an English... The Frenchie has terrible allergies and is on Apoquel. She claims it is a game changer and Frankenstein has never felt better! No ill side effects.... I know it's worked wonders for Frankie!

Jax is on Apoquel for his allergies and it helps him a lot. Have you tried doing paw soaks?

No I haven't, but man this meds woke wonders! It has only been 24hours and the swelling is a lot less than yesterday. I wonder if this is allergies.

It's so much better now! Less swollen the first toe that got it is completely normal, the other one is less swollen and this medicine is amazing!

Glad the swelling is going down, plus soaking in Epsom salt will help.
